Sprague-Lamont Schools Daily Bulletin

Monday Jan. 25 2016

Today’s Lunch: Pork Rib on a Bun, Leaf Lettuce and Tomato Slices, Relish Tray and Pears

Tomorrow’s Lunch: Taco Salad, WG Tortilla, Chips and Salsa, Refried Beans, Cinnamon Puff

1.  This month’s character trait we will be concentrating on is: Integrity—Sincerity and reverence or love for the truth.

2.  Prom is coming March 12th at Fairchild Airforce Base’s Fun Spot.  Sign up to get on base!  Bring your full legal name, social security number, birth date and drivers’ license number to Mrs. Swanger.  Remember any parents driving need to be on the list, too!! PLEASE have all your information in to Mrs. Swanger BY JANUARY 29th.

3.  If you are wanting to go to the prom with someone who does not attend Sprague High School, you will need to get them cleared through Mr. Ressel to allow them to go as your guest. You will need to do this BEFORE they are able to get on the list to get on Fairchild Airforce Base so don’t delay!

4.  WINTERFEST DANCE:

When:  Saturday, January 30 from 9:00 PM to 12:00 Midnight (After the basketball game)

Where:  Ritzville Grade School Gym

Price:  $3 Single, $5 Couple

Dress: Semi-Formal. Boys: Shirt/Tie/Pants; Girls: A Dress

Pictures:  $10 Photo Booth Style with Props—Students Choose Favorite

Final Dance Entry Time:  10:00 PM (After this time, students will be denied entry to the dance.)

Sign-In/Out: There will be a sign-in/sign-out sheet that all Sprague students and their dates will need to sign upon entry into and exit from the dance.

Out of Town Dates:  If you are planning on going with someone who does not attend Sprague or Lind -Ritzville High Schools, you must have them pre-approved through Mr. Ressel. To have them pre-approved:

  • Sign up in the office by Thursday, 1/23/16
  • They need to be under 21 years of age.
  • They cannot be in a grade lower than 9th grade.
  • They must be in good standing if they are going to school or be in good standing with community/law enforcement in community which they reside.
  • Mr. Ressel reserves the right to deny entry to any person who he feels will not honor the school rules of Sprague, Lind and Ritzville.

NOTE THAT SINCE THE WINTERFEST DANCE IS ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 30, THERE WILL NOT BE SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION TO OR FROM THE DANCE. If you are playing basketball or cheerleading and plan on attending the dance after the game, you will need to drive yourself WITHOUT ANY PASSENGERS to the game.  If you cannot drive to the game and will be using your own parent/guardian-approved transportation home after the dance, you will have to have this pre-approved with a parental note by Mr. Ressel since this is not allowed under normal circumstances. This pre-approval will need to take place by January 28.
